An inter-education board meeting will be held on September 24 to decide about when and how the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations that were postponed due to the coronavirus prevalence will be held.
Chairmen of all the education boards will join the meeting to be held at the conference room of Dhaka Education Board at 2pm.
Md Ziaul Haque, chairman of Dhaka Education Board and chief of Inter-Education Board Coordination Subcommittee, will preside over the meeting.
The meeting is set to devise the schedule of the HSC and equivalent examinations.
It is also scheduled to discuss how students will be promoted to Class-IX as Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will not be held this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The HSC and equivalent examinations were scheduled to begin on April 1 last. But those were put on hold due to the coronavirus transmission.
