Three siblings were killed as they were run over by a train in their sleep in Barhatta upazila of Netrokona district early Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Swapon, Jahangir and Mokhles.
Locals said the three brothers went to catch fish from a water body at Swalpadashal village on Saturday night.
At one stage, they fell asleep on the rail tracks.
The Mohanganj-bound intercity train, ‘Haor Express’, from Dhaka ran them over in the early hours, killing them on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.
