Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged all to be more aware about health guidelines around social distancing, facemask and handwashing to protect them from the coronavirus.
While addressing a virtual programme marking the birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, she also said students will have to continue their studies at home during the closure of educational institutions.
The prime minister said the children of the country will be patriot and good human beings and they will serve the people and build themselves as worthy citizens.
About the closure of schools and colleges due to the coronavirus pandemic, she termed it very much painful for the children.
Sheikh Hasina advised the children to continue their studies at home with utmost attention and other activities so that whenever the educational institutions open they can do everything.
Sheikh urged guardians to look after the studies of their children apart from ensuring arrangement for their sports and exercise as well as so that they maintain health guidelines.
She also called upon all to wear masks in crowded places and take care of them.
