Confirmed coronavirus cases across the world have crossed 4 crore to reach 40,280,249 as of Monday morning.
Besides, 1,118,321 people have so far died after testing positive for the virus globally, according to tracking website Worldometer.
Of the currently infected 9,046,002 patients, 8,974,007 are in mild condition while 71,995 are in serious or critical condition.
So far, 30,115,926 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries.
The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 8,387,799 and 224,730 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 7,550,273 and third highest fatalities of 114,642 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 153,905 and third highest cases of 5,235,344.
Bangladesh has so far confirmed 388,569 coronavirus cases and 5,660 deaths.
Coronavirus has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
