Coronavirus continues its spread around the world sickening 40,648,522 people as of Tuesday morning. Of them, 368,273 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.

Besides, the virus has so far claimed the lives of 1,122,992 people globally, according to tracking website Worldometer.

Of the currently infected 9,172,178 patients, 9,099,373 are in mild condition while 72,805 are in serious or critical condition.

So far, 30,353,352 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries. 

The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 8,456,653 and 225,222 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 7,594,736 and third highest fatalities of 115,236 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 154,226 and third highest cases of 5,251,127.

Bangladesh has so far confirmed 390,206 coronavirus cases and 5,681 deaths.

Coronavirus has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
