Confirmed coronavirus cases across the world have reached 44,235,263 as of Wednesday morning.

Besides, the virus has so far taken the lives of 1,171,288 people around the world, according to tracking website Worldometer.

Of the currently infected 10,620,603 patients, 10,540,716 are in mild condition while 79,887 are in serious or critical condition.

So far, 32,443,372 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries. 

The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 9,038,030 and 232,084 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 7,988,853 and third highest fatalities of 120,054 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 157,981 and third highest cases of 5,440,903.

Bangladesh has so far confirmed 401,586 coronavirus cases and 5,838 deaths.

Coronavirus has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
