Noting that Bangladesh is also feeling the impact of the second wave of coronavirus which has already hit many countries, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the government has taken necessary preparations to face it.
She made the remarks while making her valediction speech in the special parliament session marking the ‘Mujib Borsho’.
The prime minister said, “We’ve booked vaccine in advance. The government has taken all the preparations to face the corona.”
She also urged the country’s people to remain alert and wear masks to chase away the second wave of the virus.
About the formation of Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Awami League, Sheikh Hasina said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had forged a unity with all, especially for the sake of defence and law enforcement. “The aim of the unity was to increase the production in the country, make the country prosperous and develop the country.”
