Fire rips through Sattala slum in capital

The fire which broke out at Sattala slum in the city’s Mohakhali area has been put out.
The blaze was brought under control around 1am on Tuesday.
The fire erupted at the slum around 11:30pm on Monday. Around 300 shops and several shanties were gutted in the fire.
On information, 12 units of firefighters rushed in and brought the fire under control after efforts of one and half an hours.
