The world has no respite from the coronavirus as different countries have so far registered 64,844,711 infections as of Thursday morning.
Besides, the global death tally from the virus has surged to 1,499,346, according to data collated by tracking website Worldometer.
Of the currently infected 18,403,884 patients, 18,158,331 are in mild condition while 106,672 are in serious or critical condition.
So far, 44,941,481 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries.
The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 14,313,941 and 279,865 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 9,534,964 and third highest fatalities of 138,657 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 174,531 and third highest cases of 6,436,650.
Bangladesh has so far confirmed 469,423 cases and 6,713 deaths from coronavirus.
Coronavirus has affected 218 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
