The world, which is reeling under the coronavirus, has recorded 536,507 infections from the virus over the past 24 hours till 10am on Monday. In total, confirmed cases have reached 67,392,289.
Besides, 7,192 people lost their lives to the virus during the period, bringing the global death toll to 1,541,745, according to data collated by tracking website Worldometer.
Of the currently infected 19,268,609 patients, 18,541,022 are in mild condition while 106,229 are in serious or critical condition.
So far, 46,581,935 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries.
The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 15,159,529 and 288,906 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 9,676,801 and third highest fatalities of 140,590 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 176,962 and third highest cases of 6,603,540.
Bangladesh has so far confirmed 477,545 cases and 6,838 deaths from coronavirus.
Coronavirus has affected 218 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
