In a Facebook post later, he said his body was unwell since Friday. “The condition worsened after returning to the dressing room after batting. (I’m) feeling too weak. The BCB medical team advised me to return to the hotel soon after examination. I returned to the hotel a few overs after I got out.”
The southpaw underwent different tests, including Covid one, on Sunday.
However, it was not sure whether he will be able to play in the Eliminator against Beximco Dhaka billed for today.
