Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday said BNP is now in dilemma.
“BNP is hated for its evil politics on one side, it is in a crisis for grouping in favour and against freedom fighters inside the party on the other side. BNP is struggling to tackle the internal crisis,” he said.
Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, was addressing a function organised by Swechchhasebak League at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh remotely from his official residence.
He said BNP is trying to make the Election Commission controversial after failing in all fields. “People have discarded them again and again,” he said.
The ruling party leader also said it has taken the evil tactics of boycotting elections halfway through.
Pointing to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, he said the country is now going towards development and prosperity.
Quader urged him to play the role of a responsible and constructive political party.
