Twenty-nine Bangladeshi nationals are set to return home tonight (Wednesday night) after languishing in Pakistan jails.
They are scheduled to come back at 11pm after serving jail terms in Karachi and another jail in Sindh province of the country.
Besides, eight more Bangladeshi citizens, who were working in Oman legally but landed in Pakistan jail unfortunately, will return home from Pakistan with the financial assistance of the Foreign Affairs Ministry on Thursday.
While fishing in the Arab Sea inside the Oman territory in May last year, their boat entered the Pakistan water territory and its coastguards detained them.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen himself supervised the matter of bringing them back and approved their travel cost.
International Organization for Migration and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society extended their help in the repatriation of the Bangladeshi nationals.
