The government will reveal the date for publishing the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations on Tuesday.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will also speak over reopening educational institutions, book festival and different contemporary issues at a virtual views-exchange meeting at 12 noon on the day, said MA Khair, public relations officer of the Education Ministry.
He said although the results of the HSC and equivalent exams that were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic are supposed to be published by December, it might not be possible to do so.
It was learned that the Education Ministry has not yet approved the guidelines for tabulating the results. So, the results might be published in January instead of December.
At a press conference on October 7, the education minister said the HSC and equivalent examinations would not be held this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Students would be evaluated based on the results of their Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, she had said, adding that the results would be published by December.
