Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said no one will be able to break BNP’s vote robbery record in Bangladesh’s history.
He made the remarks while addressing a discussion organised by Dhaka North city unit of AL at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh, marking the Victory Day of Democracy.
Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, joined the programme from his official residence remotely.
Mentioning that any peaceful programme of BNP will be welcomed, he warned that the government will take stern steps to protect people’s property if anarchy is created in the name of movement.
The ruling party celebrates December 30 as the Victory Day of Democracy marking the last general election held on that day in 2018.
