Total global deaths from coronavirus have surged to 2,116,336 as of Saturday morning.

Besides, the virus has so far sickened 98,743,848 people around the world, according to data collated by tracking website Worldometer.

Of the currently infected 25,710,055 patients, 25,598,757 are in mild condition while 111,270 are in serious or critical condition.

So far, 70,917,457 Covid-19 patients have made recovery worldwide.

The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 25,390,042 and 424,177 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 10,640,544 and third highest fatalities of 153,221 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 215,299 and third highest cases of 8,755,133.

Bangladesh has so far confirmed 530,890 cases and 7,981 deaths from coronavirus.

Coronavirus has affected 219 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
