Four more people have died reportedly after taking toxic liquor in the district town of Bogura, taking the death toll to 11.
They died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment.
Earlier on Monday, seven people died drinking the toxic liquor.
They are cook Mozahar, tea seller Saju Miah, mason Ramjan Ali, Sumon, Polash, Alamgir and auto driver Abdul Kalam.
Locals said some people swallowed liquor at a marriage ceremony at Diabari in the town on Sunday. Some of the later fell ill.
Several others took liquor at Kalitala, Fulbari and Katnarpara only to fall sick.
They were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where seven of them died.
