Mentioning that there are conspiracies and propaganda at home and abroad, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday said Bangladesh will go forward thwarting all the plots.
She made the remarks in the winding-up speech of the 11th session of the 11th Parliament.
The prime minister said the government is taking the country ahead with specific goals.
She said BNP created the black chapter in the multi-party democracy. “BNP now lacks leadership. A fugitive accused is now its leader. People have no confidence in them.”
Noting that the economy has made a rebound, Sheikh Hasina said educational institutions will reopen in the right time. “The coronavirus situation is now under control. Schools and colleges will open after the situation improves further.”
She said Bangladesh has been hailed across the world for controlling the coronavirus situation.
