Ninety more people, including five Rohingyas, have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Cox’s Bazar district.
A total of 283 samples were tested at Cox’s Bazar Medical College Hospital in the last 24 hours till Monday and reports of 92 of those came out positive for coronavirus.
Besides, four more already infected Covid-19 patients were also found positive in the follow-up tests.
Of the 92 newly infected patients, 90 hail from Cox’s Bazar district while two from Chattogram, said Principal of the medical college Prof Dr Anupam Barua.
With this, a total of 975 people have so far been detected with coronavirus in Cox’s Bazar district.
Of them, 142 have already made recovery while 12 died, said sources at the district administration.
