Covid-19 cases continue to spike globally

Coronavirus cases continue to spike around the world reaching 12,842,039 as of Sunday morning.

Besides, the death toll from the virus has jumped to 567,649 globally, according to Worldometer.

Of the currently infected 4,796,194 patients, 4,737,362 are in mild condition while 58,832 are in serious or critical condition.

So far, 7,478,196 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries.

The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 3,355,646 and 137,403 respectively while Brazil is in the 2nd position with 3,355,646 cases and 71,492 deaths.

Coronavirus has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.

The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11 declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic.

Bangladesh has so far confirmed 181,129 coronavirus cases and 2,305 deaths.
