Awmai League leader and former Health Minister Mohammed Nasim has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
He was admitted to the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital on Monday night, said his son Tanvir Shakil Joy.
He said the report of the test of Nasim, AL Presidium member and also spokesperson of the ruling party-led 14-party alliance, came around 9pm when he was found positive for the virus.
Although he had urine problem, there is no breathing complication, Tanvir said. “He is now well.”
The ruling party leader might be taken to the Combined Military Hospital if his condition worsens.
