Many Bangladeshi restaurants in Qatar’s Doha are selling Bangla food at a low cost for the expatriate workers. The owners of Bangladeshi restaurants in National Area are selling food at half price considering the convenience of low-income Bangladeshi workers, reports UNB.
The expatriate workers expressed their happiness as they are getting Bangladeshi delicious food items at a low price. Many hotels in National Area are displaying notices with messages that people can have rice at 5 Riyals. Around 50,000 Bangladeshi expatriates, who used to work as construction workers with low salary, are living in the area.
Bangladeshi businessmen said they are selling food at half price for the low-paid Bangladeshi workers. They also said such service is relieving the sufferings of many Bangladeshi workers who do not get salary regularly.
The Bangladeshi migrant workers said they are happy to find delicious dishes cooked by Bangladeshi cooks at a low price. They are also grateful to restaurant owners for providing them such a facility.
The migrant workers requested businessmen to give the Bangladeshi workers the same facility in other cities of Qatar, too.
