Bangladesh stalwart Mushfiqur Rahim has completed 15 years in the international cricket.

The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman made his debut in the international cricket back in 2005 through a Test match against England at the historic venue Lord’s.

Right after the debut, Mushfiq took a little time to prove his mettle and became an integral part of Bangladesh international set-up in every format of the game.

Initially, he was a specialist middle-order batsman. But within the next two years from his debut, Mushfiq started to establish his place as the main wicketkeeper-batsman of the Bangladesh team.

Along with being the best wicketkeeper during his time, Mushfiq also drew the attention of the cricket world with his superb batting. He is the only wicketkeeper-batsman in the world to have scored more than one double century in Test cricket.

As one of three Bangladeshi batsmen, Mushfiq got 10,000 international runs under his belt. He amassed 4,413 runs in Test cricket and 6,174 in ODIs at an average of 36.77 and 36.31 respectively. He smashed 14 centuries across the format, with the best knocks in Test being 219* and 144 in ODIs.

Along with being one of the best performers of the national team, he led the Tigers in 94 international matches and won 26 of them.
