A North Korean trade official was shot dead for going to a public bath after defying coronavirus quarantine orders in the authoritarian Asian country.
The official was arrested and immediately executed reportedly by a firing squad to avoid the risk of spreading the deadly disease.
The trade official had been placed in medical quarantine after returning to North Korea from China.
As he was caught while going to a public bath, he was arrested and immediately shot.
Another official of the country's National Security Agency was demoted to working on a farm as he hid a recent visit to China.
The North Korean government has been claiming that there have so far been no cases of coronavirus found in the country.
The country has also taken various measures to prevent the coronavirus.
