Quader talks tough against extortion using Bangabandhu’s name

Issuing a note of warning, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Friday said no one will be spared if there is any extortion in the name of Bangabandhu in August, the month of mourning.
Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, made the warning while speaking at a virtual views-exchange meeting with officials of the Rangpur road zone, Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation and Bangladesh Road Transport Authority on the last-moment preparations ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
He also urged home-bound people to wear masks and follow recommended health guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
