Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Issa bin Youssef Al-Dahilan has said Saudi entrepreneurs are interested to invest US$5 billion in different sectors of Bangladesh, including tourism.
He expressed the eagerness during a meeting with State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali at the Secretariat on Thursday.
The Saudi envoy also said Bangladeshi workers employed in their country are very skilled and their employers are satisfied with their workability.
He said steps will be taken soon so that those got stuck and new workers can go to Saudi Arabia.
Issa bin Youssef Al-Dahilan said Bangladeshi nationals living in Saudi Arabia wii be vaccinated against coronavirus free of cost.
State Minister Mahbub welcomed the initiative of investing in the tourism sector.
