Although the Covid-19 vaccination has already started in the country, the US continued to register highest daily deaths from coronavirus.

On Tuesday, the country registered 4,259 deaths, highest in a single day since the outbreak, over the last 24 hours to take the total casualties to 389,599, according to Worldometer.

On January 7, it registered previous highest 4,132 casualties from the virus.

Meanwhile, the total caseload in the US has reached 23,368,225 with the detection of 222,121 cases during the period.

On January 8, the country registered highest 307,983 cases in a single day.
